You do not have to add the details of any Hiring Stages if you do not wish to, however, the function is useful in monitoring the progression of candidates in whom you are interested.

If want to add a Hiring Stage to a Job Posting, go to the My Positions tab, Select the Job Posting and click on View/Edit Position.
