"We are concerned about education. OUP offers a chance to practice educational values, and help teachers and students. Our publishing vision and values are unique," says OUP (China) editorial director Charles Lai.
He says most people see textbook publishers as caring more about profits than producing good textbooks. But OUP is not like that, he adds.
"We try to do what is best for the students and look for people who share that ideal and passion," he says.
The 28-member English language teaching (ELT) team is seeking staff as it is expanding in response to increased demand and competition.
