The master of science in applied economics offered by the City University of Hong Kong (CityU) provides a rigorous training in economic analysis, as well as empirical and quantitative methods for fresh graduates and young professionals.
"The media often talks about `analysis based on economic fundamentals'. In this programme, we take these fundamentals seriously. Mathematics and statistical tools cannot be avoided," says programme leader Dr Charles Leung Ka-yui.
