HKU politics majors to mix it up with professors at formal annual feast

The University of Hong Kong's (HKU) Politics and Public Administration Association is hosting its annual dinner on September 27 at which faculty, alumni and current students come together. CityU to go green for 2011 banquet

Performances and prizes are in store at this year's CityU Banquet - the university's annual student, staff and alumni dinner. Last year's event attracted some 2,000 attendees, and this year's gala is expected to be no less attended. To help combat the excessive waste at Hong Kong restaurants, attendees will be asked to consider picking a six-course menu as opposed to the traditional eight. Formalwear is required. October 27. HKUST to host annual alumni dinner

Graduates from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) will convene for their annual alumni dinner next month. The event is set to feature a "glittering line-up of performances" and is widely seen as one of the more well-attended of the university alumni gatherings in the city.
