The Grand Hyatt Shenzhen and a business centre from Regus are just two of the newcomers on the Shenzhen scene.

The new Regus Business Centre at Shenzhen Panglin Plaza is in the middle of the city's most established district, offering convenient access to public transportation, such as the metro, taxi and bus. The Metro Line 1 Guomao Station is just a five-minute walk away and one stop from Luohu Station, with its direct train link to Hong Kong's MTR network.

The freshly renovated 2,000-square-meter centre features 177 private workstations, one boardroom and two well-equipped meeting rooms. On-site services cover 24-hour access and CCTV monitoring, parking and temperature controlled rooms, while technical facilities include RegusNet high speed internet access, video-conferencing studio and voicemail.

The meeting rooms can be used for a day or half-day sessions, while the virtual office is priced at a monthly rate of around US$190 (about HK$1,500) for three months or US$155 for a 12-month contract. Other services include telephone answering, priced monthly at about US$110 for three months and US$92 for 12 months. 

The nearby Grand Hyatt Shenzhen is a beauty to behold, with its cascading 38-storey crested building design which literally turns the typical hotel layout upside-down (the lobby and almost all of the food and beverage outlets are housed in a glass-encased section on top, while the guestrooms are below).

The property is also possibly the most well-equipped business destination in Shenzhen. The 491 guestrooms boast automatic time-controlled curtains, 40-inch LED televisions, plus spacious spa-style marble bathrooms with glass sliding doors that frost over automatically when closed.

The MICE facilities include 13 event spaces spread across 2,769 square metres, ranging from a flexible two-storey residential-style venue, plus boardrooms, conference rooms and the Salon du Theatre - a 470-square-metre room with a large show kitchen.
