Deloitte is hiring university graduates and qualified professionals to support the firm's rapid business growth and succession strategy. The accounting giant is raising its total graduate intake for China - which includes the Hong Kong and Macau markets - from 1,200 to 1,600 this year.
Achieving this target will involve attracting talented individuals to join as associates working on audit, financial advisory services and tax, and analysts for consulting and enterprise risk. Deloitte looks for recruits with multiple competencies and big potential.
"We recruit employees from accounting and non-accounting majors, and focus on aspects that include academic results, work experience and soft skills," says Judy Kong, human resources director at Deloitte China.
Candidates need a good understanding of the business environment, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, clear career aspirations and commitment. Having a high level of integrity, a flexible outlook and being open to challenges and change will be an advantage.
