Planning for next term, HKU board-gamers will be shifting pawns and prawn dim sum

The University of Hong Kong's (HKU) Chess and Boardgames Society is hosting an afternoon tea and dim sum in Mong Kok next month. The session will allow members to catch up and talk about their plans for the following semester. July 9, 1-5pm. Pollution and cultural heritage at CUHK  

Much ado is made about the negative effects of air pollution on the natural environment, but often its effects can be just as harmful to manmade structures - heritage buildings in particular (left). The City University of Hong Kong (CUHK) will hold a lecture on the issue this month hosted by a professor from the University of East Anglia. June 28, 3-5pm. Be pen pals with Albert Einstein at HKUST

For the upcoming "Letters to Einstein" writing competition at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), contestants will be judged based on their personal fictitious letters to Albert Einstein (right) on any topic, such as his scientific achievements, manner of thinking or dealings with people.
