The Polytechnic University and the British Council will jointly host a free lecture, "Technologies for Sustainable Transport", on January 20. Professor Julia King, vice-chancellor of Aston University in Birmingham, will speak on ways to improve personal mobility and meet the global target of a 50 per cent reduction in CO2 emissions.
