Offering a wide selection of brews in a relaxed setting, the newly opened Coffee Corner at the Kowloon Hotel allows business travellers to unwind after a hectic day.
The coffee shop, located at the lobby of the hotel, serves a range of coffee from espresso and cappuccino, to latte and mocha, using "illy espresso roast fine grind coffee beans".
Illy specialises in roasting and blending high quality coffee that carries a distinctive flavour of toast and caramel. Professional baristas are hired at Coffee Corner to ensure the coffee is of the highest quality.
For French crepes to go with freshly brewed coffee, try crepes suzette (HK$44), chocolate pudding crepes (HK$44), bretonne (HK$40) and roquefort (HK$55).
Also on offer are organic floral tea, fruit tea, and fresh juices among other drinks. An all-day sandwich and crepe menu is available.
Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that provide an urban view, Coffee Corner's design is in line with the hotel lobby's contemporary style, using chic cream and black marble stone tiles, shaded mirror panels, and decorative golden copper feature walls. There is also free high-speed internet access.
The Kowloon Hotel is close to the MTR station and Tsim Sha Tsui East station. The hotel, which has 737 guest rooms, is also home to restaurants serving exquisite Chinese specialties.
Coffee Corner is open daily from 7am to 8pm. To celebrate its opening, a 50 per cent discount will be given to any purchase of sandwiches and salads after 6.30pm. The offer will last until the end of the year.
