Property management firm Jones Lang LaSalle is taking on recruits for its transactional and service delivery operations.
"We have more than 160 vacancies and, in particular, are looking for 25 technicians," says Elsie Hui, HR director for North Asia.
Candidates for technician roles should have a bachelor's degree or diploma in building, mechanical, electrical, building services or facilities management plus at least five years' experience.
Knowledge of UPS systems and computer room air conditioning is also essential. Job holders will be responsible for providing comprehensive engineering and critical environment management services. They will also handle preventative maintenance with vendors, which will entail shifts, standby duty and weekend work when required.
New hires will have the opportunity to pick up technical knowledge and develop business skills in line with the organic growth of the company. Since there is consistently high demand for engineering services, job security and career prospects are good, Hui says.
