Dear Career Doctor,
I would like to seek your advice on whether I should accept the offer of the program of LLM in International Corporate and Financial Law provided by SCOPE and University of Wolverhampton.
Let me tell you my background. I graduated from a local university and major in finance. After my graduation, I worked in a Big four for five years and became a qualified accountant. Now, I am working in a corporate finance firm to provide advisory service in M&A transaction. Part of my job includes to review and execute the legal documents that I believe taking a master program in corporate finance law would benefit my career.
In the meantime, I am also considering to take a distance learning course MSc Finance and Financial Law offered by the University of London.
Do you think I should take these courses? I am concerned about the reputation of course and university.

It's really hard for me to make a comment on this. But if your concern "is" the reputation of the course and the university, you should have the answer, you just want me to confirm it, right? Otherwise you would have accepted it straight away instead of asking for my opinion.
If I were you, I'd rather focus on what I need to excel and enhance myself to build and develop my future career path. Undertaking a master’s programme is nothing like shopping in a boutique, even if you ended up buying something you don't like, it certainly won't "cost" you as "dearly" – both time and money wise.
Please give it some serious thought!
