When I was 23 years old with a diploma in Business Studies, I could get job offer from bank. I rejected the offer to continue my further studies. When I was 27 years old with a degree in Business Studies, I became unemployed.

In 1992, I was 23 years old with a diploma in business studies, I got job offer as a loan dept clerk from bank. I rejected the offer. I continued to study full time business studies degree. In 1996, I was 27 years old, I became unemployed. I made a significant mistake. If you cannot get a degree by 24 years old, give it up. |

No really because of age, it is more about experience and personality and economic environment. Banking industries have got vast changes after the financial tsunami. It may be that it no longer offer the job type that you once can get. You are not alone, lots of experienced banking staff (some are laid off) may experience the same. Keep on trying and don't get discouraged. It is only when you try you that you can get what you want!!!! |
The job does not require working experience. The personality is not an issue. They had offered me the job at 23 years old in 1992. But they did not want to offer me the same job at 27 years old in 1996.
