Hong Kong graduates are losing their edge on the mainland,
Pay remains flat in videogame industry
There have been more jobs created in the United States videogame industry, but the pay remains flat. Marc Mencher, of Gamerecruiters.com, says there has been a pick-up in hiring in the industry. Salaries, however, have yet to head upwards, as the industry starts to recover after videogame sales fell 8 per cent in the US last year. The average American videogame industry salary was US$75,573 last year, compared with US$79,000 in 2008.

Australia is facing a shortage of hospital intern places for medical graduates.
