Humanities and social science students at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology will soon be able to apply for exchange placements at Peking University, thanks to an agreement with the Beijing institution. Under the plan, an initial two students each from three disciplines will be offered placements per semester. Five-a-side title is the goal
The University of Hong Kong’s (HKU) Information Systems Association is hosting its annual five-a-side IS Shield football tournament on Wednesday at the Blake Garden Football Field in Sheung Wan. Seafood replaces rabbit on menu
To welcome the Year of the Rabbit, HKU’s Chinese Society is hosting a seafood dinner in Central on February 11. The evening will include a lion dance, music, a magic show and a dramatic performance featuring society members. Each guest will also be entered into a lucky draw. Baptist University is inviting applicants for the Home Affairs Bureau’s 2011-2012 International Youth Exchange Programme. To qualify, they must speak English, be between 18 and 24, show knowledge of Hong Kong and Chinese culture, and have a solid academic background.
