New wealth managment qualification
The Hong Kong Securities Institute (HKSI) is rolling out the Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) programme, the first of its kind in Asia. The qualification, awarded by the Association of International Wealth Management, is aimed at experienced financial, legal and other professionals in wealth management. The institute, which has the exclusive right to offer the CIWM final examination and its preparatory course, is organising a free information session - in English - on June 8 from 12.30pm to 3.30pm at Room 2403-08, Wing On Centre, 111 Connaught Road Central. Master class aims to share crucial skills with human resource leaders
Jointly presented by the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management (HKIHRM) and Connect Communications, the "Mastering the Crucial Skills for Effective and Confident HR Leaders" is part of the HKIHRM 2011 Consultant Master Class. Participants will be taught three crucial skills - making appraisals work, persuading and influencing management, and executive presence and good leadership quality - and will get seven hours of CPD. Conducted in English, it will be held on June 13 from 9.30am to 5.30pm at Suite 1503, 68 Yee Wo Street, Causeway Bay. Seats are limited to 30 and the fee is HK$2,500 for HKIHRM members and HK$3,300 for non-members, with a 10 per cent early-bird discount before June 4.
