Just a stone's throw from Pacific Place Three, Admiralty and the MTR station, this trendy French eatery offers much-needed escape from a hard day at the office. Large windows surround the well-lit main dining room, which - despite an ultramodern feel - remains cosy with its warm cherry-red floors and matching tables. If it's sunshine you're after, try the alfresco deck around the back - one of the few places in the area where you can enjoy a good meal while making the most of the temperate weather.
The venue houses a well-stocked deli, with an impressive selection of cheeses, home-made preserves, cold cuts and other French delicacies.
Bistro items are equally tantalising. Starters include simple country favourites such as salmon rillete and terrine de campagne - ground pork with a generous helping of greens. For mains, it's mostly French classics, such as duck leg confit, steak tartare and escargots. Dessert lovers should not miss out on the blueberry chocolate cake.
Thanks to its extensive and mostly French wine selection, Chez Patrick is also a choice destination for an after-work tipple or quiet drinks. And with its late closing time of 11pm, don't be surprised if you end up staying well into the night.
