When the original FINDS closed down in Lan Kwai Fong, a collective sigh of regret could be heard across the city. But now FINDS fans can rejoice, as the Scandinavian restaurant concept has been reborn on the other side of the harbour at The Luxe Manor. Although smaller, the new outlet retains the same zest as the original, and is still the perfect venue for business lunches and after-work drinks.
Visually, the venue's neo-glam vibe equates to a working plethora of lively colours and curvaceous design features.
Overseen by Qube Architecture, the decor is summer-like, with vibrant eye candy running throughout. The main dining area opens into an uncluttered space, which, thanks to partitions, can easily be cordoned off for corporate events. The separations are inconspicuous, with perforated metallic curtains appearing alongside pillars dressed up as tree trunks. These in turn compliment the room's centrepiece: an eye-catching display of undulating, wooden ceiling panels.
The venue also features leafy green chairs from Arne Jacobsen and vivid Paul Smith fabrics around the bar. The bar itself houses another dramatic display of ceiling panels and is also home to the popular FINDS Molecular Mixology cocktails, which are a fitting accompaniment to the delectable Scandinavian food on offer.
