Maison de l'Hui is the new project of the successful restaurant chain, Xiao Nan Guo.

The latter specialises in authentic, stylish Shanghainese cuisine, but it can sometimes be too noisy and crowded for business guests due to its popularity. Maison de l'Hui, by comparison, is upscale and more exclusive, with four outlets conveniently located in the city's most recognisable landmarks.

The outlet on Zhongshan Dong Er Road offers a spectacular view, which is a unique advantage compared with its three siblings in town.

The three-storey building sits right next to the Huangpu River, allowing guests to take in spectacular vistas while sampling the exquisitely prepared food.

The menu presents a mouth-watering selection of local fare as well as Cantonese dishes, such as fried shark's fin with osmanthus, braised beche-de-mer with spike, Shanghainese-style smoked fish, and sweet and sour spare ribs. The dim sum selection is also delightful and the ever-popular yellow fish noodles are not to be missed.

Two private rooms on the second and third floors are available for booking. The top floor terrace, which features a bar, is an ideal place to appreciate the city view and relax after dinner.
