Adding a serious steakhouse and wine bar to the Elements' mix of food and beverage outlets, Prime is a spread over two levels of the building, and aims to attract private and corporate diners.
Designer Hernan Zangellini has capitalised on the expansive windows and high ceilings to create a warm and comfortable wine bar at the entrance level, and a spacious dining room upstairs. Al fresco areas offer a relaxing environment for casual dining, pre-dinner drinks or private cocktail parties. Semi-private rooms are suitable for dining, formal dinners, corporate entertaining, product launches, or cocktail events. The kitchen, overseen by Chris Marks and Fred Schlosser, prepares the venue's main focus - United States beef - but the menu also features grain fed Australian lamb, farmhouse chicken and Atlantic lobster. There are also deluxe burgers, including a Prime Burger Rossini with foie gras, peppercorn sauce and "a hint of truffle".
Appetisers include a range of platters including seafood, charcuterie and cheese. The wine list features an international selection. Other drinks options include classic cocktails and a range of speciality martinis.
