In a working culture where round-the-clock connectivity is the norm, effective time management is imperative. While the iOS platform's standard scheduling tools somewhat address this need, real road-warriors tend to opt for similar but slightly faster commercial apps.

Due, by Phocus LLC, is a prime example. Much like your device's built-in Clock application, the core function of the software is to provide you with alert notifications, be it at specific times or in countdown format.

Unlike the standard system-app, however, Due also boasts the ability to simultaneously create reminders in your mobile calendar, a handy function that on its own could save you a precious few seconds per entry.

Further efficiency can be found in the reminder creation screen, where suggested times relegate the hour-and-minute-selection-wheels to supporting roles.

To modify an entry, simply tap your desired changes on the app's Quick Panel, a small grey strip featuring the most commonly used adjustment options. Each alert also includes an interactive check box, making the app a de facto list manager as well.

For backup, Due offers multidevice syncing and cloud storage via Dropbox.
