Pacific Coffee's mobile platform offers the ability to browse the store menu, keep informed of daily recommendations and, thanks to a Google Maps plug-in, pin down the nearest outlet in a matter of seconds.

For store loyalists, the application boasts full integration with the chain's Perfect Cup reward card system. Not only does it allow you to check your account status, it also provides the option of topping up your balance via PayPal.

As for those of us watching our waistlines, the app also features a built-in calorie counter. To view the nutritional details for a particular beverage, simply select it from the list, enter your order size and brace yourself for the facts.

The software also includes a blog feature, where users can keep abreast of the latest news about company events and special offers, which even include free refills.

So the next time you head to a Pacific Coffee branch, remember to load up the app first.
